What Short Lists Does
Each user can create short lists for the different sections of the application.
When a short list has been created for the user they can add documents to the list to keep them together
this is useful for project work or responsibilities.
The advantages of using this software system are:
- Groups of tasks can be created that an engineer needs to do so they can just look at that short list.
- Batches of related tasks can be created that need doing.
- Lists of machines can be created that an engineer has responsibility for.
- List of machine can be created that require attention.
- List of spares can be created that are required for a job.

How Short Lists Works
On the short lists page you can create a short list of a type.
Once created you can select it in the short list panel and select that panel,
in doing this you can add documents to the short list by clicking the short list button.
When added you can open the short list to view those documents.
Short lists are also used to add spares to the document.
To add a spare to a task you add the task and spare to the short list then you open the short list edit the task and add the spare to the task.
