Machines Key Features
Machines Filtration machines are filtered throughout the system using the machine type, machine
make and machine model. This makes it easier to identify the machine required
Machine schedule task can be created against each machine these can then
be generated so that
when they come into date they will appear on the task list. The schedules
can have spares linked which will appear on the tasks spares inventory list to be
used on the task.
Machine Reports can be viewed and printed for each machine the reports
show the task that have been done giving the machines downtime and the spares that
have been used on the machines.

What Machines Does
Machines holds the list and details of the machines so that they can be used throughout the system and the data
can then be analysed.
The advantages of using this software system are:
-
The machine type, make, model and other details can be entered making the machine easily identifiable these details are also used throughout the system to filter
to the required machine.
- The machines have a site location which can be used to filter the machines.
- The machines supplier and support team contact details can be entered into the machine's
details.
- The machines engineering drawings location can be entered into the machine's details.
- Tasks are related to machines creating a task history that can be analysed.
- Spares used on the machines are related creating a spare usage history that can be analysed.

How Machines Works
The machines are arranged in a list, displaying the machines properties and the machines location.
This list can be filtered.
By selecting a machine and opening it its details can be viewed.
The details page contains further machine properties such as supplier contact details and engineering drawing location.
The details page also contains the machine’s spares list this can be used to lookup a required spare on the system.
The details page has the machine’s task history and the machine’s spares history.

What This Means
Cost savings:
- By having the details of the machine the engineer will have an idea of the machine and can better prepare. This means a reduction in engineering time.
- Using the machine’s inventory list a spare can be quickly looked up. This means a reduction in engineering time.
- By having the location of the machine it can be identified easily. This means a reduction in engineering time.
- By keeping the suppliers details and engineering drawings time can be saved locating this information. This means a reduction in engineering time.
- By having task history and spares list for each machine problems in components can be identified and engineered out.
This can eliminate or reduce downtime for that fault.
