Spares Order


The awaiting order list
shows the spares that have been requested for order theses can be grouped by supplier and ordered together.







Order Delivered


The delivered List shows the spares that have been delivered if set on the delivery the goods delivered location show the engineer where to pick up the spares from.

The tasks and spares have  purchase status feedback this shows whether the spares are awaiting order, awaiting delivery or been delivered.

 

 

 

What Purchasing Does


Purchasing is used to control spares order requests, purchase orders, deliveries and booking in of spares.
The advantages of using this software system are:
  • When spares are first requested for ordering they go onto the awaiting order list with a priority.

  • The order requests are grouped by supplier so the spares can be purchased together.

  • When the spares arrive a delivery can be created.

  • When the spares have been delivered they can be given a delivery location so the engineer knows where to pick it up from.

  • The order request status can be viewed from the spare or the task.

  • The system has a priority so special attention can be taken to urgent requirements.


How Purchasing Works


Order requests are created via spares when this happens they are added to the Awaiting Order list. The Spares Awaiting Order has a list of suppliers for the selected spare. Here you can create a purchase order for the spares for the supplier.
Spares are delivered from Awaiting Delivery. A delivery can be created and the spares are given a delivery location so engineers know where to pick them up from.
The Delivered list contains the spares to be booked in. The spares can be moved into storage or moved onto the requiring task.
The purchase order can be viewed from the purchase orders page.
The deliveries can be viewed from the deliveries page.
